Is the Poker player on the street really bothered what the pressure groups have to say?

The bottom line is that the casino industry will always be a major part of societies such as the US, and more and more parts of Europe. Gambling has been around for centuries despite attempts by many governments around the world to kill the industry once and for all. However, government and local authorities have now noticed that they can make big bucks off casinos, they can shore up their state budgets and they can cut their welfare costs. A win win situation?

The roll of the dice, the spin of the wheel and the turn of the cards is all that casino lovers are interested in. Whether they are playing for a few bucks or big bucks the thrill is the same, the anticipation and hopefully the correct end result!
