He used to be the scourge of opposition defenders, but now Tony Cascarino is proving to be equally menacing on the poker tables.
The former Irish international centre forward, who played for the likes of Chelsea, Gillingham and Millwall, has cleaned up at the main event of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT), taking home a cool first prize pot of £168,800.
Seeing off 182-competitors, the football hotshot navigated his way through a tough final table, despite starting play as the joint short-stack.
He eventually rallied to defeat Antoine Arnault at the heads-up stage, who had himself recovered from a unlikely position to make the last two.
Cascarino does have form as a poker player – just last year he triumphed in a tour event in Bolton and also made the 2008 GUKPT Grand Final.
Speaking on the tour blog, he expressed his delight at the win, and also the fact that as a recent divorcee, none of his winnings would be going to his former spouse.
With one glamorous career already behind him, Cascarino is proving that some guys really do have all the luck.

Hopes are high for a proposed casino development on the border between Northern Ireland and Eire.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, plans have been lodged for a €430m (£390m) tourism and gambling complex in the frontier town of Dundalk.
As well as a casino, the site would include an all-weather ski slope, a concert area, cinema, shops, restaurants and sports facilities.
Developers hope the Irish government will adopt a relaxed attitude to gambling laws, helping to transform Dundalk into a gamblers” paradise.
Councillor Jim Ryan said the ambitious leisure project would be "very exciting for the town".
"It could help transform Dundalk’s reputation and would help give us something - especially in this current economic climate," he added.
However, Cllr Ryan said there was likely to be a degree of opposition to the casino plan – meaning punters should hold off reaching for their hats and coats for the time being at least.
